The girl behind HI.
Hailey signs every canvas HI — her initials, and exactly what each painting is doing to you. She works in acrylic with palette knives more often than brushes, dragging and pressing color until the whole canvas hums.
Some days it’s a curtain of scraped blues and cadmium yellow. Other days it’s a field of quiet little dabs, each one placed like a note in a song. When the canvases run out she paints pottery — ask about the dachshund tray.
